Unbothered Adversities

No matter what challenges we have or mistakes we make; we will rise into a new day to start all over again…

As a black lesbian woman I’ve been faced with adversities more challenging than others. These adversities include; men not respecting boundaries or my sexuality, secret competition from people I don’t even know exist or barely know, discrimination and racism. If you only knew the battles I’ve fought just to keep this page going to share my heart and soul you will understand why my boundaries are high…

Black women we have to continue to fight for what we stand for by never giving up. Our power and pursuance will always help us get through any battles that come our way… I was told to change my page name… ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I will never conform with things/people I don’t agree with, just to be accepted. I didn’t give up, so nobody else should… Sleep with that on your mind…

I’m a black feminist and I speak for black women especially lesbians  because that’s what I’m passionate about. I don’t like speaking on world affairs. First off, I think there are major issues here in the U.S. from homelessness, racism, low wages, job security, high cost of living,  discrimination etc. all controlled by people who sleep in wealth, peacefully at night. My contribution is spreading love, something lacking in this world. I’m  also here to tell lesbian stories and things we can relate too…

My peace is priced at the highest admission. My life is soundproof to the noise!!! #unbotheredadversities 💜🙏🏾🏳️‍🌈

I lay on unbothered bamboo sheets in the pleasantry of rose water tranquility laced in exotic dreams…my nights hum a lullaby preparing me as a black woman for the battles of tomorrow’s adversities…
