Pressure
A river has to be watered in order to flow…
The well has to be fed before wishes can be granted...
The sun has to set before the moonlight can be seen…Pressure is needed for love to come into its full dimension…
I’d be lying if I said not having you wouldn’t hurt the pinnacle of my soul, watching you be in love with someone else…would be a tidal wave I wouldn’t want to endure…
I’m fighting against currents hoping to rescue me to her shore…a yellow siren bellowing for my love…
I can only float for so long…
Without your air,
I’m drifting in the wave of your nonchalant storm…
Wondering how you truly feel, is it really real,
Mixed signals will only keep me circling
Gasping for your spirit to feed me air to dive deeper into our purpose…
I need to feel love’s pressure,
In order to sink into your direction…
Tell me this is the universe’s blessing…
Regardless my journey of words will continue,
But without you, it’s harder to produce a soulful meaning…
You’re drenched in my soul,
I can’t stay in this position too long,
I need you to cave in the walls of my psyche…have me climbing headboards nightly…
Let me know I’m not overreacting…
Drown me in your power
Prove to my intuition this is not an illusion I’m after…
I need to feel you deeper than you’ve ever loved,
You’re connected with a rare soul…
Water me with your love,
Turn the pressure up,
Stare me smack dead in the eyes,
Learning my enigma inside,
Hopping on the kart of your own roller coaster ride…
Games will only raft me back to surface,
Having no pressure,
Is only failure of what we started…
