Merry Go Round
Around & around, my heart is going in circles,
My desires taking me on several unresolved journeys…
My third eye blinded by love,
My soul is seasick, distracted from getting no love…
All I have is my intuition to trust…
Do I listen to the whispers or pursue my heart’s intentions…
I’m stuck on this merry-go-round trying to be patient…
Giving up on love is like losing faith,
Why did God put her in my pathway…
Is lessons all I’m gaining from this love,
Is this the battle for a chosen one
To not give up on love,
Going around and around left with a weary heart…
If real love is waiting, why haven’t she taken me,
Why am I sitting here going in this circle without baiting…
Too many fish, I only see her…
Ignoring the red flares to lead me back to shore…
It’s getting harder to sit here,
Harder to ignore the warnings,
My thoughts are a balance scale,
So many unanswered questions circling…
No more untouched walks of shame,
Let me off, destiny is awaiting…
I’m stuck on this merry-go-round trying to be patient,
Waiting for the unknown,
Will my soul drown or will her tide be my greatest relief,
Flipping me on my backbone in reciprocated love fated in erotic peace…
