Grateful skies

I pray in grace for the ancestral eyes in places I couldn’t see…

I’ve orbited jealous planets with rockets of creativity…

I died from callous lies to be reborn with my truth…

Through the demise of dark skies

I’m grateful for every challenge I survived…

I levitated through quick sands,

Rising through the storms with keystrokes of encouraging hands,

Fueled with strength from prayers from the unknown,

My faith in love penetrated me through every milestone…

I rest in peace from believing in me,

I digested disgust of being manipulated…

I now walk in new light of gratefulness…

My story is written with a purposeful meaning,

I’ve revived the asphyxiation of people-pleasing…

Ready to strive for the treasures

I can now frolic in grateful skies,

With new love on the rise…I’m sitting high…

Beyond grateful… 💜🙏🏾🏳️‍🌈 #gratefulskies
